Doan Hall Expansion

Plans are underway to add a five story addition to University Hospital's Doan Hall North. Plans also include the renovation of the second floor of Doan Hall. The addition and renovation will triple University Hospital gastointestinal procedure areas and double office space for Division of Digestive Diseases faculty. The top three floors of the expansion are earmarked for non-clinical use.

estimated timing: The target completion for the expansion is expected in early 2007.
project benefit: The expansion and renovation is designed to meet the increased need for gastrointestinal services among Ohio's aging population. Plans call for creation of 17 endoscopy procedure rooms and a 46-bed recovery area.
